U.S. REVOLUTIONARY WAR ROLLS, 1775-1783
  The U.S. Revolutionary War Rolls is a collection of more than 425,000 records documenting men who fought for the colonies in the American Revolutionary War. The types of records in this collection include muster rolls, payrolls, strength returns and various other miscellaneous records of American Army units.

Revolutionary War American Forces included various organizations formed by the Continental Congress as well as individual states, counties, and towns. The records contained in this database regard only the Continental Army, and state and other units that served with them, so not all individuals who served in the Revolutionary War will be found in this database. The index to this database will provide the soldier’s name, category, rank, and microfilm roll number. Using the indexed information, one can look through the corresponding images to find the record on which the soldier appears.
