U.S. CIVIL WAR SOLDIERS RECORDS AND PROFILES
  This collection makes locating records of individual soldiers who fought in the American Civil War much easier. The U.S. Civil War Soldiers Records and Profiles database is a historic effort to compile and interlink all available records of soldiers who participated in the American Civil War. The collection was compiled from state rosters, pension records, regimental histories, photos, and journals. To date, the database comprises more than 4 million records. As the collection continues to grow, so will the impact of this unique family history resource.
